Les Mitchell
The powdery surfaces and intense colors of Les Mitchell’s raku pottery are standouts in his booth of ceramics that range from simply lovely, to stoneware that is practical and whimsical. The raku works are inserted in Mitchell’s plentiful selection of usable homewares, such as chip and dip sets, platters, plates and pitchers. This range of wares is no doubt the result of his heritage.Mitchell became fascinated with pottery when his family bought the historic Ideal Pottery Factory which was established in 1920. Prices range from $5 to $350.
